His questions about the profitability of individual products logically led him to data. And this is where our story begins, which grew into a long-term and fruitful collaboration. When the data goes over your head

SANITINO is an e-shop that sells sanitary equipment in 10 European markets and is growing by tens of percent year-on-year. It offers over 345,000 products and boasts a robust ultra-fast international e-commerce platform. As it expanded into several different markets each year, it slowly began to lose track of its product portfolio. Together with a data analyst, he set 3 main goals:

  • Gain more detailed insight into the business and information on which products account for the largest share of profits,
  • to be able to more easily identify the margin of each product and to streamline the entire product portfolio across all foreign markets,
  • identify trends and insights from period to period and be able to plan further actions based on these insights.

The easiest route to a data-driven company

In order to build bespoke reporting for the client, we analysed all data sources in detail and set out how we would work with them:

1. All data in one place

The client no longer has to search for data in several places: in the eshop database, Google Analytics or the company ERP system. It all flows to one place, the so-called data warehouse.

2. Smart corporate reporting

What's more, all data is visualised in a way that makes it easy to read and any report could be clicked up in literally seconds.
